Dota 2 Tournament Match Postponed Due to Player Bans
A match in the EWC 2026 Dota 2 tournament featuring Chinese team VG has been postponed. The delay is due to temporary bans issued to a PTime player and their coach.

A scheduled match in the 2026 EWC (Electronic World Championship) Dota 2 tournament between Chinese team VG and PTime has been postponed. The delay stems from temporary bans imposed on a PTime player and their coach.
EWC officials announced late yesterday, Beijing time, that an investigation into an integrity issue concerning the match was underway, leading to the postponement.
Later, the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), an integrity partner for EWC26, released a statement this morning, Beijing time. Due to the ongoing investigation, PTime player DarkMago and coach Vintage have been temporarily suspended. They are prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in EWC26 and other ESIC member events. No final determination of guilt has been made.
The postponement highlights ongoing challenges in maintaining fair play and regulatory compliance within the professional esports landscape.
