Doubao App Launches on Huawei's HarmonyOS Computers
ByteDance's Doubao AI application is now available for download on computers running Huawei's HarmonyOS. The initial version features the 2.1 Turbo and 2.1 Pro models.
IT Home reported on October 7 that the Doubao application has officially launched on the computer version of Huawei's HarmonyOS. Users can download the app directly from the app market.
The HarmonyOS computer version of Doubao is equipped with the 2.1 Turbo and 2.1 Pro models. The application supports seamless switching between dialogue and work modes. It includes core capabilities such as in-depth research, PPT generation, writing assistance, image generation, and cloud storage, covering scenarios for work, academic research, data management, automated tasks, and creative design.
Huawei stated that Doubao is a top-requested application on their HarmonyOS computer users' wish list. The app's arrival provides users with enhanced tools for productivity and creative endeavors on the platform.
Doubao is an AI model developed by ByteDance, with its Seed 2.1 series models released in June. These models are designed for coding and agent capabilities, offering upgrades in executing long task chains and multimodal understanding compared to previous versions.
