The service provides up to 40 ready-to-publish digital packages daily, integrating text reports with relevant professional photography.

The service aims to reduce the time newsrooms spend on image acquisition by providing pre-packaged editorial content. The coverage focuses on German and European affairs, including politics, business, and sports, alongside major international highlights. Content is delivered to subscribers through FTP or the Reuters Connect platform.

As a privately owned agency, dpa maintains a global network of approximately 100 correspondents to facilitate 24/7 news reporting. The organization continues to emphasize its role as an independent news provider, catering to national and international newspapers, broadcasters, and online portals.
