Led by Ann-Marie Utz, AI Trainer and Innovation Editor at dpa, the webinar will demonstrate how journalists, researchers, and investigative teams can leverage NotebookLM. The tool is designed to help users quickly structure research materials, identify connections, and derive actionable insights from complex sources like studies, reports, and video content.
Participants will learn how to upload and organize documents within NotebookLM, understand its transparent source processing, and utilize its capabilities for generating summaries, clustering themes, and creating new content formats, such as audio summaries or visual mind maps. The objective is to streamline analysis processes without sacrificing depth or accuracy.
The webinar is suitable for investigative journalists, fact-checkers, news desk teams, and communication professionals dealing with extensive documentation. No prior experience with AI tools is necessary. Leo Stahlberg, an editor from dpa's fact-checking team, will also support the session. The event will be conducted via MS Teams, with a participation fee of 135 Euros plus VAT.
