File sizes for the upcoming Dragon's Dogma 2 expansion, The Dragonborn DLC, have been revealed. The PlayStation 5 version requires approximately 17GB, while the Xbox version is considerably larger.
The file sizes for the upcoming expansion to Capcom's action RPG, Dragon's Dogma 2: The Dragonborn DLC, have been disclosed. The PlayStation 5 version will occupy around 17.060 GB of storage space.
The Xbox Series X|S version of the DLC is substantially larger, requiring approximately 66.92 GB. Pre-loading for the expansion is scheduled to begin on October 7, with the official launch set for October 9. The DLC will be priced at $29.99.
Naoto Oyama, the game's producer, has stated that the expansion will offer a significant amount of new content. Players can expect a new story set in the Norgan region, with the main quest estimated to take 15-20 hours to complete. Additionally, 12 new dungeons will be added to the game, each taking between 30 minutes and an hour to finish, bringing the total playtime for the expansion to over 25 hours.
The substantial difference in file size between the PS5 and Xbox versions may reflect variations in asset compression or content density. Players are advised to check their available storage space ahead of the pre-load and release dates.
