DRB Group Partners with Alta Home Lending for New Mortgage Venture
DRB Group, a major homebuilder, has selected Alta Home Lending as its joint venture partner to launch DRB Home Loans in Western markets. The new entity will serve DRB homebuyers in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona.
San Antonio, TX – DRB Group, one of the nation's largest homebuilders, has chosen Alta Home Lending as its joint venture partner to establish DRB Home Loans, serving the Western United States. The announcement, made on September 23, 2026, follows a competitive selection process and extensive due diligence by DRB Group.
The new mortgage venture will focus on providing financing for DRB Group's homebuyers in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona. DRB Group cited Alta Home Lending's performance history and its flexible approach to structuring the venture around DRB's business operations as key factors in the decision.
"We ran Alta through a rigorous process... Their performance history held up, and they were willing to structure the venture around how we actually run our business," said Matt Wolf, VP of Financial Services at DRB Group. Alta Home Lending CEO Andrina Valdes added that the company customizes joint ventures to meet specific builder needs.
Alta Home Lending, established in 1994, has a platform designed for homebuilder joint ventures. The company stated it aims to scale alongside its partners, anticipating further builder partnerships. DRB Home Loans is expected to commence operations shortly.
