Dreamix Rebuilds Software Development Lifecycle Around AI
Dreamix Ltd. has rebuilt its software development lifecycle (SDLC) with AI at its core, reporting up to a doubling of delivery speed. The company emphasizes improved requirements definition and review processes.

Dreamix Ltd. has re-architected its software development lifecycle (SDLC) to center around artificial intelligence, rather than simply layering AI onto existing processes. CTO Denis Danov stated that traditional SDLCs, designed for human typing speeds and coordination, are no longer sufficient, even with AI accelerating code generation.
The company observed that while AI significantly speeds up the act of writing code, it does not automatically translate to faster software releases. Gartner research indicates that many teams see minimal output gains from AI if it is only applied to the coding moment. Applying AI to code generation without adapting other process steps, such as reviews and approvals, can paradoxically slow down the entire path to production.
Dreamix's AI-centric SDLC approach involves defining clear, AI-readable requirements and standards. For smaller projects, this means precise scopes for AI agents to write and test code, with secondary checks for accuracy. At enterprise scale, the process breaks down business intent into granular, traceable tasks, ensuring that every piece of code links back to its justification and integrates with existing tools like ticketing systems and code repositories.
A critical aspect of Dreamix's strategy is reinforcing the importance of the initial requirements phase. The company warns that vague or ambiguous requirements, when fed to AI, produce fast and confident, but incorrect, outputs that proliferate. Teams that invest sufficient time in reviewing and refining specifications report shipping software approximately twice as fast without sacrificing code quality. This disciplined approach ensures that AI's speed benefits the business rather than merely accumulating technical debt.
