Driive Launches Dot, a Virtual Scheduler
Driive introduced Dot, a virtual scheduler designed to book appointments for home service businesses. The tool combines voice AI with scheduling logic that accounts for drive times.

Driive has launched Dot, a virtual scheduler aimed at streamlining appointment booking for home service businesses. The new system differentiates itself from typical voice AI services by integrating Driive's proprietary scheduling logic, which accounts for travel and drive times between jobs.
Dot's core function is to convert every incoming call, form submission, or calendar request into an actual booked appointment. Unlike conventional answering services or basic AI that might simply take a message, Dot actively checks technician availability and factors in the time required to travel to the next job. This ensures that scheduled appointments are realistic and manageable within a company's workflow.
"Voice AI without a scheduling brain is just a fancy answering machine," said Nick Small, CRO and Co-Founder of Driive. "Anyone can build a bot that sounds friendly on the phone. The hard part, the part that actually saves a business owner time and wins them the job, is knowing who's available, where they are, and what the schedule can actually absorb. That's what Dot does, because it runs on the same engine our scheduling teams already trust."
The company has made Dot available to its existing customers and is now rolling it out to a wider range of home service providers, including those in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing sectors. Driive states that the tool helps bridge the gap between initial customer contact and a confirmed booking, operating around the clock.
