Drive for Life Foundation Gala Raises $1.5 Million for Charity

Kalamazoo, Mich. – The Drive for Life Foundation announced that its 44th annual gala, held on September 24, 2026, raised $1.5 million for charitable causes. The event, hosted at the Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center, aimed to gather support for the American Cancer Society and local community service organizations.
The gala brought together business leaders, sponsors, and community members. Special guests included MSU football coach Pat Fitzgerald and NASCAR driver Carson Hocevar. Zeigler Auto Group served as a presenting sponsor for the event.
"The success of this year's Gala belongs to the entire community," said Aaron Zeigler, president of Zeigler Auto Group, in a statement. "For 44 years, this event has demonstrated the generosity of West Michigan, and tonight was another powerful example of that spirit."
The evening featured a cocktail hour, silent auction, and live auction. The funds raised will benefit the American Cancer Society and other local charities that provide essential resources and services.
