Drone manufacturer ideaForge returns to profitability in second quarter
India-based ideaForge reported a net profit of ₹6.5 crore for the quarter ending in September, marking a recovery from losses recorded in the previous quarter.
Drone technology developer ideaForge has returned to profitability, posting a net profit of ₹6.5 crore for the second quarter of the 2027 fiscal year. The result follows a loss of ₹2.6 crore in the first quarter and reflects a significant improvement from the ₹19.6 crore loss recorded in the same period last year.
The company’s operating revenue grew by 124% year-over-year, reaching ₹91.3 crore. Sequentially, revenue increased by 33% from the ₹68.6 crore reported in the preceding quarter. Total income, including other sources, reached ₹97.6 crore.
Despite the revenue growth, operating expenses rose by 41.9% to ₹90.1 crore. The cost of materials consumed remained the primary expenditure, accounting for more than half of the company's total spending during the quarter.
