The Foundation for a Drug-Free World has launched a widespread awareness campaign across North America coinciding with the FIFA World Cup. Volunteers are distributing educational materials on the dangers of fentanyl in every host city throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The initiative aims to reach football fans, families, and local communities with factual information. The organization has already distributed more than three million booklets, with a goal of reaching four million across the three host nations. The effort focuses on providing facts about drugs and fentanyl before potential exposure.
The campaign leverages the tournament's extensive geographical reach, encompassing 16 host cities. Volunteers have been distributing materials near stadiums, businesses, churches, schools, and youth groups. Participants are encouraged to share the materials within their own communities.
The Foundation for a Drug-Free World provides "The Truth About Drugs" booklets and educational resources free of charge. Businesses, schools, and community leaders are invited to participate in the campaign and assist in disseminating this vital information.
