Duke Energy Board Appoints Joyce Mullen as New Member
Duke Energy's board of directors has appointed Joyce Mullen as a new board member. Mullen is expected to bring experience in digital transformation and customer-focused execution to the energy company.
Charlotte, N.C. – Duke Energy's board of directors announced the appointment of Joyce Mullen as a new board member, effective September 28. Mullen will serve on the Audit Committee and the Operations and Nuclear Oversight Committee.
Mullen retired as president and CEO of Insight Enterprises in April 2026 and continues to advise its leadership. Her background includes significant experience in technology integration and driving digital evolution for businesses.

Mullen's tenure at Insight Enterprises saw the company focus on becoming an AI-first solutions integrator. Her prior roles at Dell Technologies and Cummins Engine Company provided broad experience in sales, operations, and supply chain management. She also serves on the board of The Toro Company.
