Duke Energy Florida is concluding power restoration efforts following Hurricane Isaias. The company stated that strategic grid improvements have aided in faster restoration for customers.

Duke Energy Florida announced on Sunday that its crews are in the final stages of restoring power following damage caused by Hurricane Isaias. Todd Fountain, Duke Energy Florida's storm director, stated these improvements help crews restore power more quickly during severe weather events.
Duke Energy Florida mobilized resources from across the state to support restoration efforts. The company also provided safety guidance regarding downed power lines and the proper use of generators.
Duke Energy Florida serves approximately 2 million residential, commercial, and industrial customers across a 13,000-square-mile service area. It is a subsidiary of Duke Energy, one of the largest energy holding companies in the United States.
