Danny Tng, who holds a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), pursued a PhD focused on nanomedicines for cancer treatment. His exposure to cancer research and collaboration with clinician scientists fueled his ambition to become a clinician scientist, aiming to bridge patient care with research.

Kendra Tang's interest in medicine was sparked during her undergraduate pharmacy studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS). A hospital attachment experience redirected her focus, leading her to train as a pre-registration pharmacist before joining Duke-NUS.

Chang Min Kai explored medicine through his undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Life Sciences at NUS. Participation in a pre-medical track program provided opportunities for volunteer work, interaction with faculty, and shadowing, which solidified his decision to apply to Duke-NUS.

Liwen Lee, with a degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, found her calling in medicine through her involvement with St John Ambulance. This experience combined her passion for learning about the human body with a desire to serve, leading her to pursue medical studies at Duke-NUS.
