DXC and LangChain Enhance Agentic AI Controls for Critical IT Operations

DXC Technology has partnered with LangChain to advance governed agentic AI in critical enterprise IT environments. This collaboration integrates LangChain's open-source LangGraph framework into DXC's OASIS platform, designed to orchestrate and secure IT operations.

The OASIS platform is currently in production and being deployed across 125 client environments in regulated industries and multiple geographies. It combines DXC's extensive experience in operating enterprise systems with LangChain's technology, enabling the secure and supervised operation of AI agents. In measured use cases, OASIS has reduced resolution times by an average of 95% and achieved diagnostic accuracy of 92% or higher.

Through this partnership, DXC is utilizing LangGraph and LangSmith for building, orchestrating, evaluating, and continuously improving the OASIS agents. LangGraph provides an open-source framework for agent orchestration, including state management and workflows requiring human intervention. LangSmith offers tools for agent development, evaluation, and observability.

OASIS enables agents to respond to operational events, investigate issues in parallel, and involve human experts when necessary. This allows human experts to focus on high-value decisions while agents handle large volumes of operational problems with speed. For example, file system-related incidents that previously took 53 to 90 minutes are now resolved in 3 to 6 minutes, and database performance issues have seen resolution times shrink from hours to minutes.
