Dyson HushJet™ removes pet allergens and odors

Dyson has launched the HushJet™ compact air purifier, designed to capture pet dander, allergens, and odors from indoor air.

9 October 2026

Dyson has introduced the Dyson HushJet™ compact air purifier, specifically targeting the needs of pet owners. The device is reported to remove up to 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, including pet dander, pollen, and mold spores.

The air purifier features a 360° electrostatic filter designed to attract and trap allergens. Additionally, it incorporates a 360° activated carbon gas and odor filter that neutralizes pet and cooking smells, as well as harmful gases like nitrogen dioxide. Dyson states the filter maintains its performance for up to five years.

Dyson emphasizes that the entire machine is fully sealed, ensuring that captured pollutants, such as pet allergens, are contained within the unit and not re-emitted into the room.

Despite its compact footprint—measuring 230mm wide and 469mm high—the HushJet™ is capable of purifying air in spaces up to 100 square meters. Dyson's HushJet™ airflow technology is said to distribute purified air throughout the room, reaching corners where pet hair and dander often accumulate. The device operates quietly, with noise levels as low as 24 decibels in sleep mode.

The MyDyson™ app allows users to monitor indoor air quality in real-time, receive personalized reports, and remotely control the device's settings. An auto mode intelligently detects airborne particles and adjusts airflow only when necessary, conserving energy.
