Dyson GmbH has introduced its first cordless vacuum cleaner with a self-emptying feature, the Dyson V10 Konical, accompanied by the Auto-empty Dok™ station. This new model is designed to enhance home cleaning hygiene and convenience by minimizing dust exposure.

The device is equipped with the new All Floors Cones™ floorhead, engineered to continuously detangle long hair and pet hair from the brush bar, preventing tangles. Additionally, the vacuum incorporates HEPA filtration, claimed to capture 99.99% of particles as small as 0.1 micrometers, releasing cleaner air back into the room.

The Auto-empty Dok™ station automatically empties the vacuum, transferring dust and debris into a sealed bag capable of holding waste for up to two months, reducing the frequency of manual bin emptying. The station also charges the unit and stores three commonly used accessories in an organized manner. Dyson emphasizes product longevity, and the new Auto-empty Dok™ station is backward compatible, allowing Dyson V8 owners to upgrade while still utilizing existing accessories. This approach aims to reduce the need for purchasing entirely new attachments when upgrading the unit.
