Paul Apen, Chief Business and Operations Officer at E Ink, highlighted the significance of the expansion during the groundbreaking ceremony. E Ink has a long-standing presence in Massachusetts, having originated from MIT Media Lab in 1997. The Billerica campus is home to over 260 employees and serves as a key global research and development center. The construction project is slated for completion in March 2027 and is expected to contribute to the local economy by creating new job opportunities.
