The e-Residency program experienced a 7% increase in both applications and new company incorporations during the first half of 2024, compared to the same period in the previous year. This growth highlights the sustained interest in establishing businesses through Estonia's digital infrastructure.
During the first six months of 2024, 16,079 new companies were incorporated via the program, an increase from 14,917 in the prior year period. The total number of applications received reached 15,784 in the first half of 2024, up from 14,926 in the first half of 2023.
The e-Residency program offers a digital identity and the ability to establish and manage an EU company remotely from Estonia. It is designed for global entrepreneurs seeking to conduct business within the European Union without physical presence.
