e-Sprinto Launches G1 Electric Scooter for Consumer Market
Electric two-wheeler maker e-Sprinto has entered the consumer market with its G1 family electric scooter. The company aims to sell 5,000 units by March 2027.

Electric two-wheeler manufacturer e-Sprinto has expanded into the consumer market with the launch of its G1 family electric scooter. The Indian startup, previously focused on B2B fleet operations, is now targeting a broader customer base.
The G1 scooter is available in three variants, with prices starting from INR 89,999 (approximately $1,080 USD). The models feature battery options ranging from 2 kWh to 3 kWh, offering a claimed range of 80 km to 130 km on a single charge. The scooter includes three riding modes—Eco, City, and Sport—and is designed for families and everyday commuters.
The launch occurs as several electric two-wheeler manufacturers in India aim to capture the family scooter segment, traditionally dominated by petrol-powered scooters. Competitors like Ather Energy and Simple Energy have already introduced similar models.
e-Sprinto aims to sell approximately 5,000 G1 units by March 2027. The company, founded in 2022 by Vinod Gupta, Atul Gupta, and Shalu Gupta, has primarily operated in the B2B sector, reporting over 70,000 vehicles on Indian roads. The business is reportedly bootstrapped and profitable, with plans to expand its dealership network.
