Eagle Point Software Acquires Global eTraining
Eagle Point Software has acquired Canadian firm Global eTraining to expand its portfolio of technical training solutions for the AECO and manufacturing sectors.
Eagle Point Software, the developer of the Pinnacle Series learning platform, has acquired Alberta-based Global eTraining. The move consolidates two providers of technical training aimed at professionals in the architecture, engineering, construction (AECO), and manufacturing industries.
The acquisition is intended to combine the companies' respective technologies and expertise to improve workforce development tools. According to CEO John Biver, the integration of teams will allow for accelerated investment in learning technology, helping clients adapt to rapid industry shifts.
Global eTraining brings AI-enabled digital onboarding capabilities to the firm’s existing offerings. Susan Brattberg, co-founder of Global eTraining, stated that the merger aligns with a shared goal of improving technical proficiency through practical, workflow-integrated learning. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
