Eagle Point Software Acquires Global eTraining
Eagle Point Software has acquired Canadian firm Global eTraining to expand its digital learning and workforce development capabilities for the AECO and manufacturing sectors.
Eagle Point Software, known for its Pinnacle Series learning platform, announced the acquisition of Alberta-based Global eTraining. The move aims to integrate both companies' training solutions to provide enhanced professional development tools for the architecture, engineering, construction, and manufacturing (AECO) industries.
Eagle Point CEO John Biver stated that the merger will allow for increased investment in learning technologies and broaden the company’s reach. By combining their respective platforms, the firm intends to better support organizations struggling to keep pace with rapid technological shifts in their daily workflows.
Susan Brattberg, co-founder of Global eTraining, emphasized the shared values of both companies regarding employee development and workforce productivity. Financial advisory for the deal was provided by Sampford Advisors and Ascentage Advisors, while legal counsel was managed by Bryan & Company LLP and Pierce Atwood LLP.
