Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa in Illinois' Driftless Region has released new fall and winter getaway packages. Offerings include championship golf, spa services, and updated dining options.
GALENA, Ill. – Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa is offering fall and winter travel packages that do not require air travel, located in Illinois' Driftless Region, an area known for its rolling hills and wooded valleys.
The resort, set on 6,800 acres overlooking Lake Galena, aims to provide an alternative to flying. The region's topography, shaped before the Ice Age, features dramatic elevation changes and sweeping views.
For the fall season, guests can engage with four championship golf courses, hiking, horseback riding, and activities on Lake Galena. The Stonedrift Spa is also available. The resort has refreshed its culinary program under new Executive Chef Brandon Veitch, who previously worked at establishments like The Peninsula Chicago.
Several seasonal packages are available, including a "Spooky Weekend Getaway" in October, a Halloween Party, and a "Thanksgiving Getaway" in late November. Package inclusions range from accommodations and dining credits to activities such as the "Fear Forest" walking experience.
