EAO AG, a family-owned company headquartered in Olten, Switzerland, is celebrating 75 years of operation in the field of human-machine interface (HMI) products. The company was founded on August 10, 1947.
Since its inception, EAO has grown from its initial operations, which included manufacturing high-voltage rectifiers, converters, and transformers, to becoming a worldwide leader. The company developed its first illuminated pushbutton switch early in its history, establishing a core product offering.
Today, EAO AG employs approximately 600 people across four production sites. The company supports a global network that includes ten sales organizations and more than 50 specialist distributors.
