EAO AG Launches Series 57 Multi-Legend Display for Public Transport
EAO AG has introduced its new Series 57 Multi-Legend Display, designed to provide intuitive status information in public transportation systems. The display aims to enhance passenger experience with clear, easily recognizable symbols.
Olten, Switzerland – EAO AG has launched the Series 57 Multi-Legend Display, a new product aimed at improving passenger information within public transportation. The device is intended to offer clear and easily understandable status updates for travelers.
The display is engineered to show up to 18 custom pictograms, visible from wide viewing angles. An integrated sensor adjusts the display's brightness according to ambient light conditions, ensuring readability in all environments and extending the device's operational life. This feature allows passengers to quickly ascertain information, such as whether a toilet is free, occupied, or out of service, thereby reducing unnecessary waiting.
The Series 57 Multi-Legend Display features a 3-inch TFT screen operating at a resolution of 432 x 432 pixels. Configuration of the unit is possible using the Multi-Legend Display programming kit. EAO has focused on meeting all public transport requirements, including intuitiveness, flexibility, maintainability, and adherence to industry standards.
This new display is part of EAO's ongoing commitment to improving human-machine interfaces, particularly in demanding sectors like public transport. The company has previously contributed to solutions such as door opening buttons for trains.
