EAO AG has expanded its 82 series with a new product variant offering vibration-resistant cable connections for demanding operating conditions. The new buttons are engineered to withstand harsh environments, such as cleaning agents in the food industry and vibrations in specialized vehicles.
The new buttons in the 82 series come with a 200 mm cable, available straight or at a 90-degree angle. This enhances installation flexibility and allows for use in tight spaces. The buttons are available with an M12 connector for machine building or with tinned ends for R118 certification for heavy-duty vehicles.
According to the manufacturer, the new HMI devices offer IP67 protection with a sealed rear, making them suitable for tough conditions. The housing is made of stainless SUS 316L steel, and the light guide is resistant to cleaning agents. The buttons are suitable for applications including the food and beverage industry, mechanical engineering, special and heavy-duty vehicles, and public transport.
