EAO Expands Product Family for Charging Solutions

EAO AG, a Swiss company specializing in human-machine interfaces, has enhanced its portfolio of charging solutions designed for rail applications. These additions aim to provide passengers with more efficient and convenient ways to charge their mobile devices during travel.

The updated product line now includes 10-watt (2-ampere) versions for its round table chargers and rectangular multi-coil chargers. This allows for significantly faster charging of single devices or the simultaneous charging of two devices, each receiving 1 ampere.

Furthermore, EAO has introduced a Surface Mount Charger Adapter, a new mounting option for its table chargers. This accessory simplifies installation by allowing the charger to be mounted from above onto the table surface without requiring extensive modifications to the underside of the table.

EAO has also expanded its range of power supply units to accommodate various AC and DC voltage inputs and 5V or 12V outputs. The 12V output versions are necessary for the 10W fast charging systems. These developments are intended to improve the onboard passenger experience by offering more versatile and powerful charging capabilities integrated into train interiors.
