EAO to showcase HMI solutions for improved train travel at InnoTrans
EAO AG will present new human-machine interface (HMI) solutions for the rail industry at the InnoTrans trade fair in Berlin, focusing on enhancing passenger experience.

EAO AG is set to showcase new human-machine interface (HMI) solutions designed to enhance the train passenger experience at the upcoming InnoTrans trade fair in Berlin. The event, scheduled for September 22-25, gathers the international rail industry, and EAO will use the platform to introduce several new products.
The company plans to feature a train mockup at the exhibition, allowing visitors to experience various HMI applications in a simulated real-world environment. EAO highlights its expertise across multiple train components, including door systems, seat reservation systems, and driver workstations, aiming to streamline interfaces and coordination for train manufacturers and operators.
Among the new offerings is the Universal Sound Module, which provides integrated sound generation for acoustic signals. This aims to improve orientation and safety for passengers, particularly those with visual or mobility impairments, at entryways. EAO is also launching the third generation of its Series 56 push button, featuring a new electronic architecture for enhanced long-term reliability.
To further improve passenger comfort, EAO is introducing updated seat reservation systems designed for seamless integration with passenger information systems. New displays with bright indicators will allow passengers to quickly identify available seats. Additionally, EAO is expanding its charging solutions: round table chargers will now offer 15W wireless charging with a magnetic positioning ring for compatible smartphones, and a new USB-C power supply will support up to 60W via Power Delivery 3.0 and PPS, automatically adapting charging voltage for devices like smartphones and laptops.
EAO will be exhibiting at InnoTrans in Hall 27, Stand 750.
