EaseMyTrip Reports ₹11.7 Crore Net Loss in Q1 FY27, Revenue Up 18%
Online travel aggregator EaseMyTrip slipped into a net loss of ₹11.7 crore in the June quarter of FY27, despite a year-on-year revenue increase of 18.4% to ₹134.7 crore.

Online travel aggregator EaseMyTrip (EMT) reported a consolidated net loss of ₹11.7 crore for the first quarter of FY27, a significant downturn from a net profit of ₹4.4 lakh in the same period last year.
The loss occurred despite a 18.4% year-on-year increase in operating revenue, which reached ₹134.7 crore. The growth in top-line revenue was primarily driven by a surge in its hotel packages segment, where revenue more than doubled. However, revenue from air passage and other services saw a decline.
Total expenses for the quarter rose by 29.8% to ₹152.7 crore compared to the previous year. This increase was largely due to a more than doubling of service costs and rising expenses in advertising and sales promotion.
Despite the financial results, EaseMyTrip highlighted progress in its strategic initiatives, including the expansion of its Dubai operations, which saw a 45.2% year-on-year increase in gross booking revenue. The company also mentioned ongoing investments in AI-led travel innovations and strengthening its hotel and holiday business.
