East Idaho Credit Unions Launch $100M Welcome Home Housing Program
Four East Idaho credit unions and the GoWest Foundation have launched the "Welcome Home" program, offering 100% financing for first-time homebuyers.

Multiple credit unions in East Idaho have partnered with the GoWest Foundation to launch a mortgage program called "Welcome Home." The initiative, valued at $100 million, aims to improve access to homeownership for first-time buyers by providing 100% financing options.
The four credit unions participating in the program are Connections Credit Union, Frontier Credit Union, Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU), and Westmark Credit Union. The program is specifically designed to address housing affordability challenges and assist local residents in acquiring a home.
The "Welcome Home" program offers full financing, meaning that buyers are not required to provide a down payment. This offers a significant advantage for many first-time homebuyers for whom saving for a down payment is a primary obstacle. The goal is to make homeownership attainable for a larger segment of the population.
The collaboration between the GoWest Foundation and the credit unions highlights a commitment to community support. The program intends to bolster the local economy and foster stability in the East Idaho housing market. Further details regarding the program and its application process are available through the participating credit unions.
