EC Healthcare and Prenetics Establish Strategic Health Collaboration
Hong Kong-based EC Healthcare and genetics testing company Prenetics have formed a strategic partnership. The collaboration aims to integrate health data and genetic testing services to advance preventive and precision medicine.

EC Healthcare, the largest non-hospital medical group in Hong Kong, has signed a memorandum of understanding with genetics and diagnostics company Prenetics for a strategic collaboration. The partnership is set to combine health data resources from EC Healthcare with Prenetics' genetic testing services, focusing on the advancement of preventive and precision medicine, drug discovery, and health policy.
Under the agreement, EC Healthcare will serve as Prenetics' designated offline fulfillment partner for its online business. Additionally, EC Healthcare gains exclusive rights to market and sell certain Prenetics DNA testing products, including the CircleDNA brand, within the Greater Bay Area. The two companies will also jointly develop IT solutions to enhance the integration of health and genomics data.
Eddy Tang, Chairman and CEO of EC Healthcare, stated that the partnership aims to integrate Prenetics' testing services into EC Healthcare's ecosystem. This will enable a holistic health view for patients by combining traditional health data with genomic risk profiling. Tang anticipates that the collaboration will foster cross-selling synergies and create new revenue streams for EC Healthcare's existing medical, aesthetic, and wellness businesses.
Danny Yeung, CEO and Co-Founder of Prenetics, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that it will provide patients with an unprecedented consolidated view of their DNA and health data. "Our mission has always been about prevention, not treatment," Yeung said. The collaboration is expected to drive innovation in personalized healthcare.
