Ecobyke Joins FasterCapital Program for African Expansion
Ivorian micro-mobility startup Ecobyke has been selected for FasterCapital's EquityPilot program to scale its electric bike and scooter services across African cities.

Ivorian startup Ecobyke, specializing in micro-mobility, has been accepted into FasterCapital's EquityPilot program. The initiative aims to support Ecobyke's expansion of its electric bicycle, scooter, and trotinette services across major African urban centers.
Founded by Pierre Junior Assi, Ecobyke designs and operates shared electric bikes and scooters tailored for West African urban environments. The company emphasizes locally managed operations, remote fleet control, and provides low-emission transport alternatives.
FasterCapital, a global venture builder and online incubator, will focus its EquityPilot program on key execution milestones and go-to-market readiness. This support is intended to prepare Ecobyke for a wider regional rollout.
The program's initial phase, spanning 30–60 days, will concentrate on refining operational processes, product-market fit, and early commercial strategies. The objective is to translate Ecobyke's existing strategy into actionable steps with the aid of advisors and ecosystem support.
"We’re excited to support Ecobyke through EquityPilot. Our team will focus on execution milestones and connecting the startup with the right ecosystem stakeholders," said Hesham Zreik, founder and CEO of FasterCapital.
