Ecopetrol S.A., Colombia's largest company and a major integrated energy firm in the Americas, announced personnel changes within its senior leadership team, effective October 1, 2026. Cristina Toro Restrepo will conclude her role as Corporate Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Secretary on September 30, 2026, following a decision by the company.

Silvia Restrepo García Reyes, currently the Corporate and Shareholder Affairs Manager, has been appointed as the acting Corporate Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Secretary, effective October 1, 2026. The company stated that an appointment for a permanent replacement will be announced once made.

Ecopetrol expressed gratitude to Ms. Toro Restrepo for her contributions during her tenure. The company is a significant player in Colombia's hydrocarbon production, accounting for over 60% of the country's output, and holds strong positions in petrochemicals and gas distribution.
