Chinese technology firm Edifier has launched its Hecate G5 Max wireless headphones, which come with a versatile "eight-in-one" dock. The product is priced at 599 yuan for its initial launch, with a regular price of 665 yuan.
The headphones are equipped with 53mm PEN titanium-plated diaphragm drivers, offering a frequency response range of 20Hz-40kHz. They support SBC and LHDC 5.0 codecs, capable of up to 96kHz/24bit sampling rates, and hold Hi-Res certification along with THX Spatial Audio.
Designed for comfort, the Edifier Hecate G5 Max headphones weigh approximately 293 grams and feature metal headbands with memory foam earcups designed to accommodate eyeglasses. The headset includes a 3D hinge system allowing for 105 degrees of horizontal and 37.5 degrees of vertical adjustment.
The device supports both Bluetooth 6.0 and 2.4G wireless connectivity. Battery life is substantial, rated at 255 hours in Bluetooth mode and 217 hours in 2.4G mode, powered by a 2000mAh battery. The integrated "eight-in-one" dock provides charging, battery level display, volume control, and RGB lighting adjustments, enabling quick mode switching and setting changes.
