Chinese technology company Edifier has launched its new WE-BASS clip-on wireless earphones. The devices became available for sale on JD.com on October 14, priced at 399 yuan (approximately $55 USD).
The earphones are designed to offer a custom fit for various ear shapes and to remain stable during dynamic activities such as sports or commuting. They utilize a highly elastic nickel-titanium alloy wire, tested to maintain its shape even after repeated bending and stretching.
In terms of audio quality, the WE-BASS earphones feature 12mm long-stroke drivers and a dynamic bass compensation algorithm. Edifier's proprietary "EAC Acoustic Energy Concentrating Cavity 2.0" enhances sound directionality and amplification, optimizing audio transmission to the ear canal.
The device also includes multiple EQ modes, such as classic, dynamic, vocal, cinema, and audiophile settings. Additionally, the earphones employ AI-powered noise reduction and a wind noise detection algorithm capable of handling wind speeds up to 28 km/h. They provide 5 hours of playback on a single charge, with a total of 20 hours of combined use with the charging case. They support Bluetooth 5.1 and seamless switching between two devices.
Further features include IP55 dust and water resistance, a low-latency gaming mode, and AI-based real-time translation for 21 languages. Users can manage settings and locate the earphones through the EDIFIER Connect app.
