Edifier has launched a limited 30th-anniversary edition of its NeoBuds Pro 5 headphones. Only 3,000 sets will be produced globally and are priced at 1169 yuan.
Chinese audio manufacturer Edifier has released the NeoBuds Pro 5 30th Anniversary Collector's Edition headphones. This special edition is globally limited to 3,000 sets and is priced at 1169 yuan (approximately $160 USD).
Each set comes with an individual number, a commemorative badge, and a collector's card, marking the company's three decades in business. The headphones feature an upgraded acoustic architecture with a 1-ring and 2-iron three-way crossover system, incorporating a large-diaphragm dynamic driver for low and mid frequencies and two Knowles balanced armature drivers for highs and ultra-highs.
Sound quality is supported by LHDC 192kHz/24bit and LDAC high-resolution audio codecs, earning the headphones Hi-Res Wireless and HWA dual gold standard certifications. The audio experience is further enhanced by head-tracking enabled Dolby Atmos, delivering immersive spatial audio.
The NeoBuds Pro 5 anniversary edition includes Edifier's wide-band multi-channel ANC technology, offering adaptive noise cancellation with a depth of -53dB and a frequency range of 5kHz. A combination of 3 microphones, bone conduction, and AI noise reduction aims to ensure clear calls and effective noise filtering in various environments, including windy conditions.
Battery life is rated at up to 46 hours with the charging case when ANC is off, and 25 hours with ANC enabled. A 15-minute fast charge provides approximately 3.5 hours of playback.
