Edifier Updates Comfo Clip Q2 Headphones with StarThunder Connectivity
Audio device manufacturer Edifier has updated its Comfo Clip Q2 open-ear headphones to support StarThunder E2.0 technology, promising lossless audio and reduced latency.
Edifier, a manufacturer of audio devices, has upgraded its Comfo Clip Q2 open-ear headphones to include support for the StarThunder E2.0 wireless connection technology. This update allows the headphones to deliver lossless audio transmission, lower latency, and improved resistance to interference.
The Comfo Clip Q2 headphones, initially launched in early September and built on the OpenHarmony system, now feature this enhanced connectivity. Users can enable the StarThunder connection by updating the Edifier Connect application to its latest version and re-pairing the headphones as prompted by the app.
This development marks Edifier as the first third-party brand to introduce headphones featuring StarThunder technology. The technology is designed to enhance the performance of wireless audio devices beyond what traditional solutions offer.
According to information on StarThunder, the physical layer transmission rate can reach 16 Mbps, exceeding the bandwidth of conventional technologies. This capacity is sufficient to support lossless 48kHz/24bit Hi-Fi audio transmission, significantly improving the listening experience for users.
