Edtech Startup Klassroom to Launch IPO on July 31
Indian edtech startup Klassroom will open its SME IPO on July 31, seeking to raise approximately ₹39 crore (around $4.6 million USD). The company aims for a valuation of ₹148.1 crore ($15.3 million USD).

Edtech startup Klassroom's Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Initial Public Offering (IPO) will commence on July 31. The company is set to debut on the BSE SME platform on August 7, with its price band fixed between ₹151 to ₹159 per share.
The public issue includes a fresh issue of up to 19.89 lakh shares and an offer for sale of up to 4.66 lakh shares. At the upper end of the price band, Klassroom aims to raise approximately ₹39 crore. The proceeds from the fresh issue are earmarked for technology upgrades, content development, marketing, brand building, and debt repayment.
Specific allocations include ₹2.35 crore for debt prepayment, ₹5.35 crore for capital expenditure on content development and enhancing educational video production, ₹1.95 crore for procuring computers for new offline centers, and ₹5.21 crore for marketing initiatives.
Founded in 2016, Klassroom operates a hybrid learning platform serving K-12 education, competitive exam preparation, professional upskilling, and AI/ML learning solutions. The company reports over 6 lakh registered users and 2 lakh paid subscribers. In FY26, Klassroom posted operating revenue of ₹23 crore, a 128% increase from the previous year, with net profit rising to ₹7.6 crore.
The IPO comes at a time when funding in India's edtech sector remains subdued. In the past, Klassroom has raised over $2 million from various investors.
