EFICYENT Establishes Nepal Payment Corridor Through IME Partnership
EFICYENT has partnered with Nepal's IME Limited to enable instant bank account and digital wallet credit for remittances to Nepal. The new corridor expands EFICYENT's reach into South Asia.

EFICYENT, a global cross-border payments platform, announced a strategic partnership with IME Limited, a prominent remittance company in Nepal, on July 13, 2026. The agreement, formalized on June 29, 2026, aims to create a direct payment corridor for international money transfers into Nepal.
The partnership will allow customers and partners within EFICYENT's global network to send funds directly to recipients in Nepal via bank account deposits and digital wallet payouts. This move expands EFICYENT's presence in a key South Asian remittance market. Transactions are processed in real-time, providing faster access to funds for beneficiaries.
"This partnership reflects our commitment to building fast, reliable payout corridors for the communities that depend on remittances most," stated Aravinth Ramesh, CTO at EFICYENT. He added that collaboration with IME enables real-time settlement in Nepal at a significant scale, strengthening the local payment network for more efficient cross-border transactions.
Badri Katwal, General Manager at IME Limited, highlighted the importance of the strengthened infrastructure. "Partnering with EFICYENT enhances our payout infrastructure and ensures customers receive funds instantly, securely, and conveniently through their preferred bank account or digital wallet," Katwal said. IME Limited has been serving Nepali communities globally since 2001.
The agreement was signed at EFICYENT's UAE office, underscoring a shared goal to improve cross-border payment services between international markets and Nepal. EFICYENT operates as a financial infrastructure platform focused on real-time settlement capabilities.
