Sunnyvale, CA – eGain Corporation reported its fiscal year 2026 financial results, with total revenue increasing by 3% to $91.1 million, up from $88.4 million in the prior year. For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, total revenue was $22.2 million, a slight decrease from $23.2 million in the same quarter last year.
The company's focus on AI-powered solutions drove a 20% year-over-year increase in AI customer revenue. Additionally, AI customer annual recurring revenue (ARR) grew by 13% and constituted 72% of total SaaS ARR as of June 30, 2026.
Simultaneously, eGain was recognized as a leader in Gartner's inaugural Magic Quadrant for Customer Service Knowledge Management Systems. CEO Ashu Roy highlighted that AI-driven knowledge management is emerging as a critical infrastructure layer for enterprises, ensuring trustworthiness and accuracy across AI initiatives.
The company also saw improvements in its gross margin, with non-GAAP gross margin reaching 74% for the full fiscal year, compared to 71% in the previous year. eGain's cash and cash equivalents stood at $73.3 million as of June 30, 2026, an increase from $62.9 million in the prior year.
