Egyptian Simplex Opens New $50 Million Manufacturing Facility
Egyptian CNC machine manufacturer Simplex has inaugurated a new 40,000 square meter industrial facility in 10th of Ramadan City. The expansion represents a $50 million investment.
Egyptian industrial firm Simplex has officially opened its latest manufacturing expansion in 10th of Ramadan City. The new 40,000 square meter facility, representing a $50 million investment, is dedicated to the production of computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
CNC technology automates the control, movement, and precision of machine tools through preprogrammed computer software. Simplex, a graduate of the Flat6Labs accelerator program, specializes in manufacturing these machines and providing advanced technological solutions for various industrial sectors.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by figures including Egypt's Minister of Finance, Dr. Ahmed Kouchouk, alongside investors, international partners, and government representatives. Simplex co-founders Eng. Ahmed Shaaban and Eng. Mohamed Mansour hosted the event.
During the facility's opening, Simplex also announced new partnership and agency agreements in Jordan and Kuwait. The company stated it currently exports to 34 countries, indicating a growing footprint for Egyptian engineering products in Arab markets.
