Egyptian transport app Tawsela has joined FasterCapital's EquityPilot programme. The initiative aims to improve both passenger and driver experiences and strengthen the company's operational readiness.

Tawsela, founded by Omar Moawad, focuses on providing more comfortable travel options and promoting sustainable mobility. The initial 30–60 days of the programme will concentrate on enhancing trip scheduling, user experience, and driver operations.

The EquityPilot programme also includes guidance on connecting with relevant local stakeholders. "We are excited to support Tawsela through EquityPilot. Our team will focus on execution milestones and connecting the startup with the right ecosystem stakeholders," said Hesham Zreik, founder and CEO of FasterCapital.

Tawsela's selection for the programme signifies a period of review to streamline and expand its operations within Egypt's growing transport and technology sectors.
