Egypt's Courier, Express, and Parcel Market Projected to Grow to $178.6 Million by 2030

Egypt's Courier, Express, and Parcel (CEP) market is projected to reach $178.6 million by 2030, up from an estimated $134.3 million in 2025. This represents a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.86% during the forecast period.

The growth is significantly fueled by the expanding e-commerce sector in Egypt, which is expected to reach $11.43 billion by 2027. The national postal service, Egypt Post, is actively supporting this trend by offering domestic shipping solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and facilitating international deliveries through its extensive network of post offices.

While the transport and storage sector's contribution to GDP is expected to see slow growth in 2024 due to global economic conditions and IMF program stipulations, Egypt's long-term economic strategy (2024-2030) includes substantial infrastructure investments. These initiatives are anticipated to boost the sector's GDP contribution in the coming years.

Recent fuel price increases, particularly for diesel, implemented in March 2024, are expected to raise operational costs for the logistics sector and potentially impact consumer spending. The government is also pursuing measures to increase crude oil production and attract foreign investment in the energy sector.
