Eight Startups Poised for IPOs: Market Watchlist

The window for venture-backed companies to pursue initial public offerings (IPOs) is narrowing, but Crunchbase's predictive intelligence tools have flagged eight potential candidates that may list in the coming months.

The identified companies span diverse sectors including artificial intelligence, fintech, cryptocurrency, consumer health, and climate technology, featuring firms such as smart-ring maker Oura and productivity platform Notion.

Following SpaceX's significant IPO in June, which set a record for the year, the market saw 58 venture-backed companies list above a $1 billion valuation in the first half of 2026. This indicates a robust, though potentially closing, window for further public debuts.

While some companies, like AI firm Anthropic, have expressed intentions to go public, Crunchbase's models suggest a listing for Anthropic is more probable within a six- to 12-month timeframe. Other potential candidates include cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, AI chip developer SambaNova, and Swedish green steel producer Stegra.
