Eisai Presents New Oncology Research at ESMO Congress

Eisai announced the presentation of new clinical research from its oncology portfolio at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026, held in Madrid from October 23 to 27. The company's presentations will focus on treatments for renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and endometrial cancer, particularly combination therapies involving LENVIMA® (lenvatinib).

New analyses from the Phase 3 LITESPARK-011 and LITESPARK-012 studies, evaluating LENVIMA-based regimens for advanced RCC, will be presented. Final results from LITESPARK-011, and its connection to the recent U.S. FDA approval of the WELIREG® (belzutifan) and LENVIMA combination, will be featured in separate sessions. Additionally, research from the LITESPARK-012 study, comparing two LENVIMA combinations as first-line treatment, will be shown.

For endometrial cancer, Eisai will present exploratory biomarker analyses from the Phase 3 LEAP-001 study. This study compared the combination of LENVIMA and KEYTRUDA® (pembrolizumab) against chemotherapy in advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer. The company will also release findings from a patient survey highlighting the experiences and treatment preferences of individuals living with endometrial cancer in the U.S.

Eisai emphasized its commitment to generating new evidence to support treatment decisions for patients with difficult-to-treat cancers. The company stated that the presented research covers various stages of the patient journey and aims to improve patient outcomes and experiences.
