Elanders AB's nomination committee has proposed Caroline Sundewall as a new member of the company's Board of Directors. The proposal is set to be presented at the Annual General Meeting on February 26, 2015. Sundewall's appointment is expected to strengthen the board's expertise.
Sundewall currently serves as Chair of the Board for Cloetta and the Streber Cup association. She also holds board positions at Cramo (Finland), Hemfosa, Lifco, Mertzig Asset Management, and Södra Skogsägarna. Previously, she worked as a Business Controller at Ratos and as a financial journalist. Her prior board experience includes serving as Chair of Svolder and as a board member for companies such as TeliaSonera, Electrolux, Haldex, Pågen, and Ahlsell.
The nomination committee also proposed the re-election of the existing board members. This includes Chair Carl Bennet, Deputy Chair Johan Stern, and members Erik Gabrielson, Göran Johnsson, Linus Karlsson, Cecilia Lager, Anne Lenerius, Magnus Nilsson, and Kerstin Paulsson. Employee representatives elected by Elanders staff will also continue their roles.
