The company stated that the reduction in workforce, combined with employees who have left for other reasons, will result in approximately 80 fewer full-time positions in its Swedish operations for the full year compared to 2009. The restructuring was initially outlined in the interim report for January-June 2010.
President and CEO Magnus Nilsson indicated that these measures are necessary to adapt to market conditions and ensure the company's long-term competitiveness. Elanders aims to streamline operations and enhance efficiency across its business.
