Elementl Power, DS Investment Partners and Samsung C&T target US nuclear projects
Elementl Power, DS Investment Partners, and Samsung C&T have formed a partnership aiming to invest up to $750 million in the development of U.S. nuclear energy projects.

Elementl Power has signed a preliminary agreement with DS Investment Partners and Samsung C&T to fund and advance nuclear energy projects in the United States. The proposed partnership aims to secure up to $750 million to support the development of multiple sites managed through Elementl Power’s capital management platform.
The collaboration seeks to leverage the operational capabilities of Elementl alongside the financial backing of its partners to expedite project lifecycles. This move follows a period of heightened interest in nuclear energy as a viable source for consistent, low-carbon power, driven by rising demand from industrial sectors and data centers.
Nuclear infrastructure projects remain capital-intensive, frequently facing significant financing hurdles. This agreement underscores a broader market trend of private capital entities increasingly engaging in long-term energy infrastructure development to address supply gaps in the U.S. power grid.
