Elgato Launches Wave Go Wireless Microphone for Content Creators
Elgato, known for its creator hardware, has introduced the Wave Go, a compact wireless microphone aimed at mobile content creators. The device competes directly with offerings from DJI.

Elgato has entered the mobile audio market with the launch of its Wave Go wireless microphone, a device designed for content creators who operate away from their desktop setups. The microphone, priced at $99.99, is positioned as a direct competitor to similar offerings, such as DJI's Mic Mini.
The Wave Go is characterized by its small size, reportedly comparable to an AirPod and weighing only seven grams, making it discreet for on-camera use. Despite its compact dimensions, Elgato claims the microphone delivers "broadcast-quality" audio, incorporating a condenser capsule with features like EQ shift, auto gain, and noise cancellation for enhanced sound capture.
Designed for ease of use, the Wave Go attaches to clothing using a magnetic clip and plate system, enabling hands-free recording suitable for vlogging and other forms of on-the-go content creation. This release marks Elgato's expansion into the portable creator tools segment.
The company, which has a strong presence in the market for desktop-based creator hardware, is leveraging its expertise to cater to a growing demand for versatile and portable production equipment among digital influencers and videographers.
