Uppsala, Sweden – Elicera Therapeutics AB has concluded the Phase I part of its CARMA study, which assessed the safety and preliminary efficacy of its ELC-301 cell therapy.

The study involved patients diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma who had exhausted all curative treatment options. In total, eleven patients showed an objective tumor response, characterized by a reduction in tumor burden.

Of the twelve participants, eight achieved a complete metabolic response (CMR), indicating no active disease was detected during follow-up. This outcome suggests potential for the ELC-301 therapy in a patient group with limited therapeutic choices.

ELC-301 is a CAR T-cell therapy developed by Elicera Therapeutics, utilizing their iTANK technology. The company is proceeding with further evaluations to ascertain the therapy's full impact.
